arthur’s digital garden
Hi there! I’m Arthur, a recent Computer Science graduate who adores knowledge and learning effectively. This digital garden a collection of my notes, experiments, and learning progress. I hope to see it grow with time as a testament to my own growth.
What is a Digital Garden?
A digital garden is a living collection of notes, essays, and ideas that are constantly evolving. Instead of polished, finished posts, you’ll often find thoughts in progress. Each entry is a “plant” in the garden, with room to mature and be pruned over time.
It is inspired by a process called learn in public which is motivated by a few principals like make the thing you wish you had found when you were learning and habitualizing learning through accountability. Why do I do it? I think it has potential to discover unforeseen connections between topics, pushes me to strive for my best self (or get comfortable being wrong), and make myself honest with my own progress.
Where to Start
These are some notes that tend to spawn other ones:
- Kanban Idea Dump: A mess of project ideas.
- TODO Kanban: Truly just a random assortment of things I could do with my life which are definitely not kept up to date.
These are works I’m proud of:
Henry Bacon (American, 1839–1912), The Nile—Evening, 1905–1911.
